Clear Minds is looking for:
Full-time mental health counselors and social workers who would like to work for a locally operated company that seeks to see our clients as people first; not just a diagnosis. We prefer clinicians with an independent license, but have an LPCC-S available for supervision hours. Play Therapy Supervision is also available, by a RPT-S. Hours will vary, based on your part-time/full-time status, as well as your individual preference. We are looking for clinicians to fill our growing agency either through in-person counseling or tele-counseling, at our Norwalk, Bellevue, and (coming soon) Willard offices. General Duties:
Unless independently licensed, clinician will work under the direction of a supervisor, while assessing clients for mental health conditions. Clinicians will also provide counseling services, create treatment plans, and complete all client documentation under supervision. Clinicians will also be responsible for scheduling their clients and monitoring their clients' progress.
Essential Functions:
- Client Experience:
- Treat clients with courtesy and respect
- Use professional telephone etiquette
- Use professional documentation skills
- Use electronic medical record and documents according to HIPAA regulations
- Demonstrate the skills and judgment necessary to provide mental health counseling under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician.
- Accurately assess for, and treat, client's mental health concerns
- Utilize de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Create and review treatment plans
- Transfer and discharge clients when appropriate
- Promote effective working relationships, while working effectively as part of a team, in order to meet the company's goals and objectives.
- Assume all other assigned duties and responsibilities as necessary
